Sermon Overview
Reidhead argues that the believer lives at the intersection of three competing "worlds." He defines the "Cosmos" as the external enemy, the "Flesh" as the internal enemy, and the "Kingdom" as the spiritual reality. The sermon is a call to recognize the "Line of Demarcation" and to live entirely out of the resources of the Kingdom while rejecting the values of the other two.
Key Principles
Cosmos System:Identify the "organized system of rebellion" around you and refuse to adopt its values or goals.
World of Flesh:Recognize your "Self-life" as an internal enemy that seeks to hijack your spiritual energy.
Kingdom Reality:Live entirely out of the resources of the Kingdom of God, treating Christ as your only Sovereign.
Line of Demarcation:Draw a clear line between your "Ambassadorial" duties and the "Cosmos" culture.
Cross as Divider: Use the Cross as the "Divider" between the World-System, the Flesh, and the Kingdom.
Overcoming via Faith:Overcome the external "Cosmos" through a resting faith in Christ’s superior reign.
Dual Citizenship Tragedy: Repent of "Dual Citizenship"; realize you cannot be loyal to both the World and the King.
Ambassador Status:Carry yourself as an "Ambassador" in a foreign land, representing only Kingdom interests.
