Scoring Your Results

Mostly A’s: The "Anthropocentric" (Man-Centered) State

Reidhead would suggest you are currently caught in "Utilizational Christianity." You are inadvertently treating God as your servant rather than your Sovereign. You are seeking the benefits of the Savior without the Lordship of the King.

 

Action Steps -  Shift the Center of Gravity from you to Him

• The Audit: Take a piece of paper and write down your "Right to Yourself"—your plans, your reputation, your future, and your bank account.

• The Execution: Formally "sign" these over to Christ. This is not a request for a blessing; it is an Unconditional Surrender. Use the language of the "Damascus Road": "Lord, what wilt Thou have me to do?"

• Learn: Listen to "Ten Shekels and a Shirt" and "Repentance: What It Costs." Ask the Lord to grant you a "Theocentric Revolution."

 

Mixed A’s and B’s: The "Carnal" Conflict

You have had a revelation of God’s glory, but the "Gnome of Self" is still fighting for the throne. You have "tasted" the truth but haven't yet "swallowed" the cost of total surrender.

 

Action Steps-  Move from Self-Effort to Spirit-Reliance

 

• The Reckoning: Stop trying to "fix" your carnal habits through willpower. Instead, begin to Reckon (count) yourself dead to sin and alive to God. Say, "Lord, I cannot do this, but You can. I am the one yielding; You are the one living."

• The Mirror: Spend 15 minutes daily in the "Mirror of the Word," not for comfort, but for cleansing. Ask the Spirit to reveal any "Chaff" (religious form) that needs to be blown away.

• Learn: Listen to "Victory Part 1 & 2" from the So Great Salvation series and "Why God Made Man" and focus on "Identification" (Romans 6)

Mostly B’s: The "Theocentric" (God-Centered) Walk

You are beginning to live for the "Pleasure of the Father." You recognize that you are a "means to His end" and find your highest joy in His honor.

 

Action Step - Maximize Kingdom Impact.

• The Post: If you are a "Means to His End," you must find your specific station. Ask the Father, "Where is my post in Your global purpose?" This may be in your home, your office, or a foreign mission field.

• The Salt Test: Evaluate your "Savor." Are you losing your distinctiveness to fit in with the "Cosmos" (World-System)? Commit to one area of Holy Separation where your character will act as a preservative.

• Learn: Listen to "The Principles of Missions" and "Worship" and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal your "Specific Post" in the Global Harvest.
