Sermon Overview
Reidhead argues that we often "pray" as a way to avoid "obeying." He identifies several areas—such as world evangelism, personal holiness, and the use of our talents—where God’s will is already clearly revealed. In these cases, he asserts that we shouldn't "ask for a sign" or "seek a leading," but simply "Rise up and Obey."
Key Principles

Subterfuge Prayer:Identify areas where you are "praying" as a way to delay an "obedience" you already know is required.

Clear Commands: Stop asking for a "sign" regarding world missions or personal purity; the Word has already spoken.

Go Ye Mandate:Realize that "Go" requires no further leading; accept your general assignment to reach the lost.

Repentance Now: Treat repentance as an immediate "Action," not a topic for prayerful consideration.

Right Use of Resources:Stop praying about your "talents" and start using them according to the clear Word.

Closet to Field: Move immediately from the "Prayer Closet" to the "Mission Field" once a command is read.

Procrastination Check:Recognize that "Waiting on the Lord" for a clear command is actually procrastination.

Authority of Written Word: Treat the "Written Word" as your final authority; refuse to seek "feelings" over Facts.
