Sermon Overview
Reidhead distinguishes between a "Contract" (based on mutual performance) and a "Covenant" (based on God’s oath). He argues that our security is grounded in the "New Covenant" in Christ's blood. This provides the believer with an unshakeable foundation for faith, even when their own feelings or circumstances are in flux.
Key Principles

God’s Oath: Ground your security in God’s "Oath" rather than your "Performance"; He is the Covenant-Keeper.

Blood Security: Rely on the "Blood of the Everlasting Covenant" as the legal guarantee of your safety.

Immutability Harbor:Find a "Safe Harbor" for your soul in the fact that God cannot and will not break His promise.

Provisions: Actively "claim" the provisions of the Covenant—Peace and Power—as your daily legal right.

Safe Harbor: In seasons of emotional darkness, anchor your soul in the "Legal Fact" of God's unchangeable Oath.

Faith vs. Surrender:Enter the covenant through "Faith" (trusting His part) and "Surrender" (yielding your part).

Covenant Provisions:Actively "claim" the Peace and Powerpromised in the Blood; treat them as your legal assets.

Covenant-Keeper:Stop worrying about your "grip" on God; find your rest in His "Covenant-Grip" on you.
