Sermon Overview
In this alternate version of the message, Reidhead dives deeper into the "Mind" and "Strength" aspects of the commandment. He asserts that the "First and Great Commandment" is the foundation of all spiritual life and that "Loving God" is a deliberate act of the will to seek His pleasure above one’s own. He challenges the listener to see this not as an ideal to be admired, but as a non-negotiable term of discipleship.
Key Principles

Commitment of Will:Define your "Love for God" as a deliberate, daily commitment of your will to His pleasure.

All the Mind: Captivate your thoughts; refuse to let your imagination wander into secular or selfish fantasies.

All the Strength:Consecrate your physical energy and work to the Lord; treat your "labor" as an act of worship.

Vertical Source: Realize you cannot love your neighbor until your "vertical" love for God is your primary engine.

Identifying Idols:Perform an "Idol Audit"; what things (hobbies, status, family) are competing for your "All"?

Impossible Devotion:Admit you cannot love God this way in your own strength; ask the Spirit for "Divine Agape."

Fulfillment of Law:Trust that "Total Love" for God is the only power that naturally satisfies every other moral law.

Unconditional Love:Love the King for Who He Is, not just for the protection or blessings He provides.
