Sermon Overview
Reidhead argues that the Christian should see everything—work, family, and suffering—through the lens of "Theocentric" (God-centered) purpose. He challenges the "utilitarian" view of life, asserting that our time on earth is a brief apprenticeship for eternity, where our primary goal is to know and please the Father.
Key Principles

Vapor/Stewardship: Treat your life as a "brief vapor"; stop living for "retirement" and start living for "eternity."

All for His Glory: Re-filter every career choice, purchase, and relationship through Romans 11:36: "To Him be glory."

Eternal Values:Intentionally "trade" your temporal comfort for eternal rewards by investing in Christ’s interests.

Meaning of Suffering:View your "suffering" not as a mistake, but as an apprenticeship for your role in the coming Kingdom.

Meaning in Work: View your "daily job" as a "station of service" to the King, not just a way to earn a living.

Perspective of Cross:Use the "Cross" as the filter for every decision: "Does this gratify self, or does it exalt Christ?"

Investing to Endure:Stop investing in "rusting" treasures; spend your brief time on things that will survive the fire.
