Sermon Overview
In this seminal series (Parts 1-4b), Reidhead defines the "Nature of Sin" not just as bad actions, but as "the right to myself"—the insurrection of the human will against the Creator. He traces the "History of Sin" through the Fall, the Law, and the Cross, showing that sin is a spiritual disease that can only be cured by the radical death of the "Self-Life."
Key Principles

Origin in Lucifer:Recognize the root of sin as the "I will" of independence from God's authority.

Loss of Image:Acknowledge that the "Fall" resulted in a shattered image that only a "New Birth" can restore.

Anomia (Lawlessness):Define your sin not as "mistakes," but as "insurrection" against God's right to rule.

Self as Core: Identify the "Self-Life" (the right to yourself) as the actual disease; "sins" are merely the symptoms.

Remedy of the Cross:Apply the "Sentence of Death" to your self-will; realize the old man cannot be reformed.

Sins vs. Sin: Deal with your "acts" (sins) through confession, but deal with your "nature" (Sin) through crucifixion.

Deceitfulness of Sin: Be vigilant against "religious pride," which is the most deceptive form of the self-life.

Depravity of Will: Stop trying to "will" your way to holiness; admit your will is depraved and needs a new Driver.
