Sermon Overview
Reidhead teaches that spiritual victory begins with "Knowing" the fact that our "Old Man" was crucified with Christ. The second step is "Reckoning"—counting that fact as true in the face of feelings or temptation. He argues that victory is not a matter of "trying" but of "trusting" in a completed historical and spiritual reality, allowing the resurrected life of Jesus to function through us.
Key Principles

Step 1: Knowing: Study Romans 6 until you "know" the fact of your co-crucifixion as a settled historical reality.

Step 2: Reckoning:Practice "Logizomai"—counting yourself dead to sin's pull, even when you don't feel like it.

Legal End of "I": Accept the legal verdict that the "I-centered" life ended at the Cross of Calvary.

Gift vs. Goal: Receive "victory" as a completed gift from Christ rather than a goal you are trying to reach.

Cancelled Sin Power:Use your "legal standing" to command sin to leave; realize its power over you was cancelled at the Cross.

Yielding Members:Deliberately "hand over" your eyes, hands, and mind to God as tools for His righteousness.

Mind & Faith Relationship: Align your "thinking" with the "facts" of the Word to provide a base for your faith to operate.

Alive from the Dead:Carry yourself as a "resurrection man," living with the energy of someone who has cheated the grave.
